8. Accounts and receipts shall be compared by the frontier stations each day, and a settlement shall be arranged at the end of each month.

The balance shall be settled at Tientsin on the 21st of each month.

Telegrams referring to the accounts shall pass free.

The settlements shall be made according to the Foreign Calendar.
